  22.       you don't need, or just archive them for a while if you're
  23.       justifiably paranoid. Print out reports of what's used, what's not,
  24.       or just dump a list of libraries out to a file or your printer.

  30.       is renowned for its charm and wit and uncanny ability to randomly
  31.       choose taglines that strike at the heart of the message in question.
  32.       Download ASTG from AmiNet and view the source code yourself -- if you
  33.       find the part that does that, let me know -- I'm wondering about it
  34.       myself :-) ASTG is, as you guessed, freeware and source released.

  38.       Possibly out in 1Q99. An FTP program that operates similar to those
  39.       fine Amiga dir tool programs you're familiar with, with a twist. Full
  40.       ADT compliancy, "Address book" of your favorite sites, fast
  41.       responsive FTP Interface, full AREXX implementation, a "memory" of
  42.       what you have and haven't downloaded from each site, fire-and-forget
  43.       downloading. Toons for our times.

  47.       Need something a bit in between the low and high end of the spectrum?
  48.       Here's a backup package that will handle what you need -- save data
  49.       to DOS formatted devices or tape, selective or full recovery, several
  50.       different compression methods supported. Naturally, a full Arexx
  51.       interface. Filtering, multi-volume backups, full or selective
  52.       recovery, support for incremental backups also supported. Projected
  53.       for 2Q99.

  59.       Expect the first roll in 4Q98.  This is an installer for programmers.
  60.       Instead of forcing you to learn some arcane version of LISP,
  61.       ProInstall lets you generate installers in the language of your
  62.       choice (with the possible exception of profanity, unless it too uses
  63.       .fd files!). ProInstall's secret: it's a library.  Just open it up in
  64.       your program, then make it do it's thing.

  68.       By special arrangement with Gramma Software, Nag Plus is receiving a
  69.       face lift and being brought into the next millenium. Nag Plus is a
  70.       scheduling assistant, helping you maintain appointments, events,
  71.       anniversaries, and other calendar information. The last release was
  72.       version 4.

  74.       Nag V5 will features a new interface, more flags and functions for
  75.       appointments, an interface to the popular Palm Pilot PDA, and
  76.       internet awareness. Also new will be a phone book, email address
  77.       book, and other goodies. NagV5 is expected to be available no earlier
  78.       than 2Q99.
