Digerati Dreams
---------------
Digerati Dreams is a *very* small company that specializes in Amiga software
titles. We currently don't have a web site for all our products, but will
soon.
o DLG Pro Bulletin Board Operating System
Our flagship product, DLG is a bulletin board operating system for
the Amiga, renowned for its stability, efficiency, and flexibility.
The features list is as long as your arm.
If you are interested in purchasing Bulletin Board software for
your Amiga, please see our web site at www.ald.net/dlg , or contact
us for more information.
o Skimmer
Use this program to find out which of those .library files in your
LIBS: directory are being used, and which aren't. Delete the ones
you don't need, or just archive them for a while if you're
justifiably paranoid. Print out reports of what's used, what's not,
or just dump a list of libraries out to a file or your printer.
Available now on AmiNet in util/misc!
o Asha's Silly Tagline Generator
You see ASTG at work in any message I write. This tagline generator
is renowned for its charm and wit and uncanny ability to randomly
choose taglines that strike at the heart of the message in question.
Download ASTG from AmiNet and view the source code yourself -- if you
find the part that does that, let me know -- I'm wondering about it
myself :-) ASTG is, as you guessed, freeware and source released.
o AddictionFTP
Possibly out in 1Q99. An FTP program that operates similar to those
fine Amiga dir tool programs you're familiar with, with a twist. Full
ADT compliancy, "Address book" of your favorite sites, fast
responsive FTP Interface, full AREXX implementation, a "memory" of
what you have and haven't downloaded from each site, fire-and-forget
downloading. Toons for our times.
o Satan Backup
Need something a bit in between the low and high end of the spectrum?
Here's a backup package that will handle what you need -- save data
to DOS formatted devices or tape, selective or full recovery, several
different compression methods supported. Naturally, a full Arexx
interface. Filtering, multi-volume backups, full or selective
recovery, support for incremental backups also supported. Projected
for 2Q99.
Why settle for the lesser evil?
o ProInstall
Expect the first roll in 4Q98. This is an installer for programmers.
Instead of forcing you to learn some arcane version of LISP,
ProInstall lets you generate installers in the language of your
choice (with the possible exception of profanity, unless it too uses
.fd files!). ProInstall's secret: it's a library. Just open it up in
your program, then make it do it's thing.
o Nag Plus
By special arrangement with Gramma Software, Nag Plus is receiving a
face lift and being brought into the next millenium. Nag Plus is a
scheduling assistant, helping you maintain appointments, events,
anniversaries, and other calendar information. The last release was
version 4.
Nag V5 will features a new interface, more flags and functions for
appointments, an interface to the popular Palm Pilot PDA, and
internet awareness. Also new will be a phone book, email address
book, and other goodies. NagV5 is expected to be available no earlier
than 2Q99.
Nag Plus -- it's for your own good.
